it seems I'll must install backup, I'm just worried will I can because I changed passwords - I'll not delete anyhing before someone answer me, or if I can repair this somehow through ftp
(I put back old passwords and web still doesn't appear, so I put new ones again)

You should try to post it to another subforum (like administration viewforum.php?f=807) , because this thread is only for announcements and not monitored by many people.

Re: Discuss Joomla! 4.2.8
I install backup. Now I have web again. I ❤ Akeeba!
So, upgrading 4.2.7 to 4.2.8 was ok, everything good, but after I changed my passwords in cpanel on my server, my web died and I didn't repair it with sending configuration.php via Filezilla with new passwords. So I must install backup.

When you change the DB password with FTP (filezilla), you have to make sure that the rights for writing this file on server is changed before uploading the new configuration.php.JasnaSontag wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 7:46 amI install backup. Now I have web again. I ❤ Akeeba!

In general, when you save the configuration in Joomla Administrator, the file rights (CHMOD) are set to 444 (or 0444) (= readonly). Before uploading the configuration with your new password you have to change to 644 (or 0644) before.
Then it should work.
Afterwards change it back to 444 or go to Joomla backend and open and save the global configuration, then it is set to 444 again.
