Dear All,
I'm a web consultant, i would like to request the group members to help me out by providing necessary inputs..that support the possibility of Oracle support to Joomla.

We've talked about this before. It's a bit of a large undertaking, although not impossible. You'll have to start by switching out  includes/database.php.

1.5 is geared up to support multiple DB engines.  We are just waiting someone to have a go at writing a [drive] for another engine.

Hi Masterchief,

Can you send me the [drive] files so I can get some idea of the task in hand to produce some oracle [drive].

Thanks,

Steve

Joomla 1.0 has been out of support since 2009, and does not run against an Oracle database.

Sorry, don't have a personal need to have it working on Oracle.
