Dear joomla team,

Since you changed the forge many old projects are not available anymore.

I write here to ask you in particular if you can publich somewhere all the different releases of JOOMBLOG, a great component that we are using and we would like to develop further.

If we had the files we could improve on it, solve the installation bugs it had and... even reinstall in on another site, because we haven't been able to find the right Release Candidate version that we took from the forge on the first place. It was once available here: http://forge.joomla.org/sf/projects/joomblog

Please, republish this great component and let the community improve on it.

Joomblog is abandonware at the moment, there are no developers who are supporting it. As a rule we don't publish abandonware to the public. That said, if a developer/group of developers wants to support it again, they are more than welcome to. The code has been migrated from Forge to Joomlacode, so it's all there.

I might be interested in taking on the development of this component. I need to have a look at the code to see what can be done with it. Any chance of getting a copy of it?

Much people are interested in migrating of wordpress to joomla, are incredible that plugin does not exist that makes the work and facilitates the task

I'm no part of the Joomlacode team any more, so somebody else will have to do it (if it's still available after almost three years).
