044 - Polish Joomla! v 1.5 Installation Guide
Hello,
At start I'd like to say that I'm very happy that i have opportunity to support in some way Open Soure
I'm transtlating this Manual of system to Polish language. As I can receive here response I would like to ask my "boss" one small question:
is simple plain text will good to send on GHOP? You know, will you format this text to pdf, etc. or am I have to do this?
cheers!
Google Code
[me=AmyStephen]Changed subject slightly for sorting all threads to match against Google resource [/me]

Re: #44: Translate part of the Installation Manual to a non-English Language
Hi Depresz -
I responded in the other thread, already, that we would like the documentation produced using Open Office Writer because it is an open source tool that provides a cross-platform, common format everyone can use.
As I also indicated in the other thread, your mentor (when assigned) will be by to say Hi! and help you during your task.
Good luck to you in the contest and thank you very much for joining us!

I'd like to translate the document to Traditional Chinese. If OK, the translated document can be taken for Simplified Chinese use.
I think that HTML is good enough for a simple document, and can be modified easily.

Re: 044 - Translate part of the Installation Manual to a non-English Language
Today I have another good news to you, PROGRESS: 100%
I am very happy that I could help Open Source, especially Joomla! Community. I've already uploaded final files. As I had 2 weeks to translate it so I used all my free time and translated ALL content of PDF file. I decided that I should definitely feel spirit of Open Source so I just... did it; from A to Z xD. I translated every word, every image. I created all in Open Office. I have also exported content to PDF. Max. size of attachment on this forum is 100 KB so I uploaded both files to my server.

Someone checked effects of my work, but I would be happy if someone else will check my work. I noticed that probably Olivia1990 translated to other text and her document has been checked by Roman Blanty. I hope that Roman will help with checking my Manual
Cheers!

I verify that task is done.
Because Depresz did the task without guidance it still needs some work. We agreed that we will master it together.
Because he is very eager to take next task, one he already stared (and afraid somebody else could claim), please release him to be able to take this next one.
It is going to be coding this time
