123 - Bulgarian Installation Manual
Hello, I'm Mira from Bulgaria and I added comment " I claim this task" 2 days ago.
I want to translate the manual in Bulgarian but the status of the task hasn't been changed yet.
I've checked and Bulgarian hasn't been claimed.
Should I proceed with the translation or not?

Mira -
I assume you are unndomiell on Google? If so, Elin recognized you as the claimant on this task. Please do proceed with your work.
Good luck with the contest!,

I think I'm done. This is the link for the translated files (html) http://rapidshare.com/files/77304469/bg_html_.rar.html .
Please, chek it and tell me if any changes are needed.

Re: 123 - Bulgarian Installation Manual
Hi Amy and unndomiell,
let me share my points about the translation in Bulgarian.
Overall it can be assessed as good.
Although I have some remarks, which I am not sure that are valid for the GHOP:
1. Screenshots are not changed, therefore the installation screenshots are in English. While a Bulgarian user would most probably consider choosing the Bulgarian as an installation language. This leads to that some phrases (mainly buttons) are left untranslated.
2. The translation style used is not the best one and significantly differs from the current translation of Joomla! in Bulgarian. Especially when we talk about transcripting English words, when there is a Bulgarian equivalent. (i.e. account is not translated but transliterated - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transliteration )
3. Some words/phrases are translated directly, which makes them hard to understand in Bulgarian. Re-wording would be a better option.
As I said, I am not 100% sure what part of that is covered and has something to do with the GHOP. The overall impression is good.
Hope that I was helpfull.

Hi,
In terms of screen shots, we have that as an extra credit piece. It would certainly be great to have them in Bulgarian.
In terms of style, I think this is worth looking and maybe you can give unndomiell some specific comments or point to documents that might be helpful.
