119 - Serbian language in Latinic and Cyrillic Installation Manual
Hi everybody! I claimed this task! I will translate a part of the Installation Manual to Serbian language in Latinic and Cyrillic version. My nickname on Google is fantastic91.
I want to know somethings, to start my work:
To complete the task I need to translate the 4 parts listed at GHOP of the Manual or only one part (e.g. Minimal req.)?
Thanks!
When I finish it I will put that document here.
CU.

Hi, fantastic
take a look at this post, please:
http://forum.joomla.org/index.php?action=profile;u=143
You don't need to translate the license (although it is recommended if you put a reference to the original as the only valid legal document) at all but, being a derivative, yur work must carry on the original license (that's what share alike menas, it's some kind of copyleft or something like that ).
My bad, the link is this:

Chris Davenport wrote: Hi Marieke,
No, you don't need to translate the license itself. Just include a reference to it from your document (the reference can be translated). Be aware that the license is the Creative Commons one, not the JEDL. There was an error in the task description.Marieke92 wrote: What about translating the license?
Good luck with the contest!

Re: 119 - Translate part of the Installation Manual to a non-English Language
May be I did something wrong, but I've downloaded you files and there are a License.txt and a License.pdf files, both with the JEDL
It would be easy if you translate this line
PS: as an example, in Spanish, Maxi translated the Acknowledgements & License full page; the link and the original author are the key points here and all you need to add. He translated the Rider too, but adding "This is a translation of the original terms and conditions and has no legal effects", referencing the original document then.

keeping the link.License
This document is released under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0
Unported license.

Hi all,
I've examined the documents. They seem just fine. There are a few typos thou. Other than that they are OK by me. I'll be around for any further reviews you might need.

Re: 119 - Serbian language in Latinic and Cyrillic Installation Manual
Fantastic -
Did you get a chance to correct the typo's that BSD pointed out? I see your last upload to Google was on December 17th. His response came on the 19th. So, it didn't appear to me that you had made any corrections. When you have done so, and BSD says he accepts the task, we will mark it as complete.
If I misunderstood, though, please let me know.
Thanks!

I went ahead and closed this task, given BSD's positive comments earlier and your corrections. I didn't want to hold you back, any more, if you want to choose another task. If there are changes still required, I am confident you will do as BSD instructs.
Thank you very much for your important contributions for the Joomla! community. Your efforts and dedication are very much appreciated.
