Is there a default htaccess file configuration for Joomla! to start with?

I ended up having an empty .htaccess file trying to get rid of some 404 errors that ware caused by a mambot.

What's a default htaccess file look like?

Thanks

blank as you said
just a text file. create one like this: htaccess.txt and rename it to .htaccess and use text editor to add what you dont want inside it.
