???

Now this one is really strange !!

I have uninstalled joom!fish temperately  because it was causing problems with my website's google cache as I have a lot of content with a big bulky database and lot of articles. So I was planning to translate articles first and than upload them at once and make live on my site to avoid junk being cached by google and yahoo.

Now the real trouble began. I uninstalled all language packs and joomfish and removed all articles from it. But still all my urls are active with articles in it.  :-\

I believe that this articles are still in database but what about urls? they should not be generated as they are. Or should I remove two tables created by joom!fish in my database. I don't think that the problem lies here.

How and Why this urls are generated when joom!fish is uninstalled from my server. You can check this below they are still live.

http://indiarail.info/content/view/131/1/lang,hindi/
http://indiarail.info/content/view/131/1/lang,spanish/
http://indiarail.info/content/view/131/1/lang,french/
http://indiarail.info/content/view/131/1/lang,german/

They even show urls for languages which I never installed before... like this one: http://indiarail.info/content/view/131/1/lang,mexicon/

Anyway they are not linking to the joom!fish database. But they generate duplicate content on my website a potential SEO issue. How to remove this urls and get 404 not found page?

Weird.
Tested here and
http://mysite.com/content/view/5/6/lang ... rdentered/

displays the default language for the site, joomfish installed or not.

I recently have found when crawling it through a bot that It also generates urls like this: http://mysite.info/content/view/131/1/c ... view/89/23 ?

Why they are generated and from where I can not understand. What could be the reason? This started happening just a month before when I upgraded to joomla 1.0.13

Is this anyway related to that? need some serious help as duplicate content is generated and I lose my search engine position. From first page on google now I am no where though still on first page of yahoo and msn but if I don't correct this they also are going to punish me for that very soon.. :(

Have any idea about this problem?

Should this thread be moved to some other more relevant forum, where I can get some help?

I am having the same problem. After uninstalling Joomfish, most of the URLs are still with the "/en", generating hundreds of broken links.

Most of them are related to SOBI2 content, but there are some K2 articles as well.

Any clue?
