The Developer Documentation Team is pleased to announce that the following API Reference pages are now available for public review.  Particular thanks go to Ian MacLennan for his stirling work in preparing these pages.

mosCountModules: http://help.joomla.org/content/view/1563/125/
mosGetParam: http://help.joomla.org/content/view/516/125/
mosLoadComponent: http://help.joomla.org/content/view/1564/125/
mosLoadModules: http://help.joomla.org/content/view/1565/125/
mosMainBody: http://help.joomla.org/content/view/1566/125/
mosObjectToArray: http://help.joomla.org/content/view/1559/125/
mosToolTip: http://help.joomla.org/content/view/1562/125/

Please report any errors on these pages by either creating a new tracker artefact on the Developer Documentation Project tracker: http://developer.joomla.org/sf/tracker/do/listArtifacts/projects.joomla_official_documentation_pr/tracker.developer_manual
or by posting a reply in this thread.  The public review period will last for one month, after which the "[DRAFT]" designation will be removed.

The Developer Documentation Team is looking to recruit more members.  If you would like to help us create more pages like these, or if you'd like to work on other areas of the Developer Documentation then please let us know by posting a reply in this thread.  Thank you.

Regards,
Chris.

Thanks for this! I'm going to start coding again soon, so this will be a very valuable resource!

So exciting to see the use of the Glossary component! I hope this becomes a standard throughout the x.joomla.org site family as recommended throughout this thread:
http://forum.mamboserver.com/showthread ... t=glossary

Will we be able to use the definitions from the old glossary? I sure hope so. I would like to think that this text created by volunteers from the community would rest under the GPL. I'd happily submit these terms into the help site's Glossary component if you like.

Many thanks go to Ian MacLennan for extending the basic documentation. Really appreciate the practical examples. One suggestion might be to give examples of what files these functions might be used in (site template docs, components, modules, mambots, etc). Cheers to the doc team on great progress!
