I'm sure this has come up before but I did search (promise) so at least pretend to bear with me on this ;)

As the title suggests I want to be able to have 2 menus highlighted simultaneously (the mainmenu and a content menu module on the left) this I believe means implementing a split menu system - which apparently the old JA Purity for 1.0.x could do.

While I understand I could use the (working) drop down system to create a list of contents, I don't really want to do that because it means unless you mouse over the main menu you can't see what contents are available.

As an example if you go to:

http://demo.joomlart.com/contest/

and click on the main "Joomla! Overview" menu (note the main menu link is highlighted + has arrow)
then click on the link "Example Pages" in the Key Concepts module (top left) the "Example Pages" link is now highlighted in bold but the main menu has lost it's selected arrow and isn't highlighted.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated, I'm brand new to Joomla! but not to PHP so just a pointer will do. But I bet I've just missed the 'split menu' option somewhere *rolls eyes*.

Thanks in advance,

James
