I had a good tutorial on how to transfer your HTML based website to Joomla and it takes some work, but ill have to find that tutorial again!

As for deleting the Templates, i usually just log in to my FTP and go to Templates directory and i just delete the template that i dont want anymore.

Try uploade the file with Joomla explorer: http://extensions.joomla.org/component/ ... Itemid,35/

And if you want to show your site in Joomla!, try using a wrapper.

You will find the answer you are looking for in the documentation for Joomla! Explorer:
http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomlaxplorer/wiki/

(Your host can tell you your FTP login information.)

There is a great component out for Joomla 1.5 and 1.6 that can upload HTML files directly as Joomla articles: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... port/16538

To upload a single HTML file I have found using FTP or joomlaXplorer to be the best options so far.

Hi! I've found a great presentation about the tool which converts HTML to Joomla automatedly, and about some tips of migration. So, have a look http://www.scribd.com/doc/178663977/How ... -to-Joomla
