Hi,
I get an error when I install an extension with the extension manager:

# JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted. /srv/www/vhosts/tt-altburg.de/httpdocs/joomla15/tmp/install_486bc84963a24
# JFolder::folder: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted. /srv/www/vhosts/tt-altburg.de/httpdocs/joomla15/tmp/install_486bc84963a24
# JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted. /srv/www/vhosts/tt-altburg.de/httpdocs/joomla15/tmp/install_486bc84963a24
# Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.

What I see is that the zip file of the extensions is uploaded into the /tmp directory.
Inside the /tmp directory I also find a file named 'install_486bc84963a24' which is mentioned inside the
error message. The SIZE of the file is '0' (in words 'zero').
Is this the reason for my problem.

Any help would be appreciated

I just had the same problem - just unpack the archive manually on your computer & ftp it to the temp directory & do a directory install & it will install ok. This also works to fix problems with installing large components.
