Right now I am looking for a forum bridge that automatically syncs users upon their registration. I can't get a straight answer from anyone! My hosting service Godaddy is causing issues with me installing Fireboard or Agora so a bridge is the only answer for me.

Hi, Randy!
Well... if you're willing to go the "stand-alone-Forum" route (rather than an integrated Joomla component like FB/Agora), you could try using phpBB and the Rokbridge tool from rocketwerx.com? I've had a play with this combination and it seems to work pretty much flawlessly.
But, of course, you'd probably then need to look at re-styling phpBB to match your site visually (or run it in a wrapper).
HTH,
John Mc

Due to PUARCADE not being compatible with J1.5. I haven't successfully bridged phpbb on my previous trys...
I had to install an older version of joomla and use the joomlahacks bridge... with success, I am assuming that joomla 1.0.8 is still considered under the old license and can be used with smf.
