Hi i have a website, its on a Shared Hosting Server

It really takes a long sometimes to load, between page views. I need some help how i can speed up page views as i know there are some joomla sites which the page views are allot faster. I dont have much mambots, or heavy coding and i realy need some help ASAP.

Please reply if u have any comments/suggestions

Looking at your homepage:



With your Objects taking up almost 1.5 MB, which would explain why the site is so slow. They are:

Either reduce the size if you can, or remove them to speed up your site.


On other pages, a majority of the file size is coming from large images, making each page around 1MB. Using smaller images or better compression would help with speed there.

There are some large scripts as well but I'm not sure what they are.

the index page is a Intro page, it plays some audio via .swf audio stream and displays some images using flash. This is not that much of a problem but the above link is.

Reduce the file sizes where you can.

To give you an idea about site sizes, the majority of the sites I've worked on that load quickly are no more than 250-300KB in total. The only exceptions are for graphics heavy websites such as photographers, etc since visitors generally expect longer loading times with those.
