I want to translate

Post by nagylzs » Wed Jan 18, 2006 8:45 am

  Hello Joomlists!

I would like to host websites for companies with Joomla. I wonder if it is possible to translate the admin interface into Hungarian.
I will gladly do the work, just I need to talk to the responsible person.
Thanks,

  Les

Welcome to Joomla!
Thank you for volunteering.

Concerning HUNGARIAN, please contact our Translation Partner:
LeGas http://forum.joomla.org/index.php?action=profile;u=153

I believe 1.0.x is taken care of but volunteers are needed to work on 1.1

Thank you. The problem is that his website (http://www.joomla.hu) is not available since days, and his e-mail address is hidden here. :-(

Hello!

We've started to work on the translation of Joomla 1.1 yet. If you want, you can help us, when our website will work (we are changing server).

Regards,
LeGaS

Great. I noticed that joomla.hu is down. Please write me ASAP because we badly need hungarian admin interface for our customers.

BTW can you tell me how can I install hungarian admin interface in 1.0?

Thanks

Excuse me,

I am looking for Hungarian translation to Joomla 1.5 (for frontpage)... I see that it is not yet available. Is there any other alternative? Or how to modify another language pack to "work" as "Hungarian"?

Thanks!

O.

Hello and thank you very much!

Eventually I managed to sort everything out. I would like to comment, that was not at all straight forward to fix everything regarding language issues and components / modules incompatibilities. The solutions for each little problem were scattered all across different forums on the web that took a long time to pinpoint.

Luckily, everything it's fixed and valuable troubleshooting experience was gained! I pity thought those in the future that will have to go through the same route.

Thanks,

O
