Hi all,

Joomla! has just been approved for a booth at the FOSDEM 2009. I like to encourage you to join us in Brussels. If you have a chance to support us during the days on site it would be great. Please sent us a small note here in the forum.

As soon as I have more information I will blog and/or post here in the forum about it.

Also please note that you can still signup for a lightning talk (http://www.fosdem.org/2009/call_for_lightningtalks) - the period is until the 29th of December.

Hi Alex

I'm planning to come over (with a J!friend) as a visitor and feel the atmosphere for this kind event (first one for me), and of course to see J! stand. Still like to ask what kind of support you need/want?

Hi all,

I have several people from the Core Team, Working groups and OSM that contacted me that they will join in for the event. More news very soon but you should really add a comment here and mark your calendar. I'm currently checking my one and make sure my travel details are organized as I'm planing to travel to Belgium as well.

I just booked the flight and will arrive in Brussels on the 6th of February in the evening. May be we can arrange a dinner as a meet and greet with some people somewhere. As I don't know much about Brussels recommendations are welcome.

I'll bring some information about events and also of course about the project. We have a stand including a table to present some information.

Just a note I just reserved rooms in the Holiday Inn BRUSSELS-SCHUMAN, RUE BREYDEL 20, Brussels, Belgium 1040 hotel.

It will be Tonie, Wilco Peter and me staying there.

The event is great. We have alot of people coming to the booth and asking toons of questions. The latest pictures of the event are already available on flickr (http://www.flickr.com/groups/joomla/)

We are looking for having some dinner with the Joomla folks somewhere in Brussels. If you have a recommondation just post it here. If you like to join us, just pass by our stand in building AW and we can arrange something.

It's a great event. A nice atmosphere and a lot of enthousiastic people from all different kinds of open source software projects.
