PDF Viewer?

Post by Kesava » Sun Mar 08, 2009 9:40 am

I'm looking for a joomla extension that will allow me to display PDF files on my website. It would be more then one page, so I want something that will display the PDF "Brochure" and allow users to look through the pages and stuff.

I have looked through the extensions and haven't found anything good.

Could you please recommend me something?

Thankyou :)

Is it not simpler to just rely on the capabilities of the browser and the PDF reader in the client workstation? Are you suggesting that a PDF document is rendered as HTML?

I'm going to do that if I can't find a better way. However I thought it would be nicer to have a viewer. I have seen viewers used in online supermarket catalogues for example. When you go to their website they often have a pdf catalogue which opens in a viewer.

But if this isn't easily possible then I'll just stick with the normal way.

Thanks
