How do I create a Super-Administrator?

I am currently locked out of some items within my website. I cannot edit them because there is a padlock there and I cannot click on the title of the item to edit it.

When I searched in the Help section, I saw that I should log in as a super administrator, however, the site does not have one. How do I create one so that I may be able to edit these items?

If you are not super-admin you cant create one. and to make the website there MUST be a super-admin. so whoever set up the website is the super admin

I used this site: http://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_recov ... assword%3F and I just could not do it, probably because I was doing something wrong.

The reason why I do not believe there to be a super-admin is because when I click on "adminster users" within my regular admin window, and then use the drop down box to filter my search results to who the super administrator is, there is not a user that appears there. So, either the super admin is invisible or I do not know.

Anyway, as far as the above site, when I went to the phpMyAdmin site and then did the whole procedure with the MySQL thing and copied and pasted the script provided and it said that my SQL syntax was incorrect. I do not know if there are some different values that I need to plug in within that script or what and if I do have to plug them in, then what format do I need to use and how to I find all of that information?

check the first 3 letters of the file.

most are jos_ but could be different mine are sgj_

If they are not jos_ replace them in the sql statement
