I seem to have the same problem, so I'd say it's an epidemic...
When I add a menu item with "Article Layout" type, I can kinda select the article. The pop-up appears, listing all the articles. I can click on one of the articles and the name of the article subsequently appears as normal in the select article parameter. However, even after I've filled in all the other relevant details, I can neither apply nor save the menu item. My only option is to "close" it (i.e. discard the menu item).
Ours is a very infrequently updated website. I have got existing older menu items from 12 months ago which do point to Article Layout pages, so I know it's a relatively recent problem. I can't make changes to those menu items now, as they exhibit the same symptoms.
This error appears in one of my Firefox logs which may (or may not) be of relevance:
"document.getElementByID("id_id") is null"
Error: document.getElementById("id_id") is null

Oh, and I'm not on Godaddy (as another post
raised a related Godaddy issue).Edit
: Having read my own post, I realised I was using an older version of Firefox. I've updated to 3.0.8 (the latest at the time of writing). The problem remains. However, I'm now seeing a different error message:

I have tried using the Firefox browser in 'safe mode', however this does not help, so I can exclude any browser add-ons.
