Can anyone recommend a good component to look at as an example of the MVC-style approach. I've worked through the MVC tutorial and think I understand it as far as it goes, but an looking for something with just a LITTLE more complexity to see the workings of a "real world" component. For example, the MVC tutorial alludes to cases where multiple controllers are needed but goes no further (not being critical of the tutorial -- it's great as far as it goes -- just looking for a little more depth in a relatively simple but real component that does something useful).

I believe com_weblinks is generally regarded as the archetypal MVC component. Take a look at some of the other core components too. They haven't all been refactored as yet, but the ones that have should be worth looking at. I don't know whether any of the core components have multiple controllers.

Regards,
Chris.

1. Download Joomla.

2. Look in /components/com_weblinks and /administrator/components/com_weblinks.

Chris.
