Hi, could you please help me with the Plugin manager. When I click on the Plugin manager in Extensions menu, I can see only the blank screen.

I have uploaded all the files to the folder com_plugins again but it did not help. Modules are working fine and new plugins can be still installed/un-installed.

Thaks a lot!

Martin!

Try turning on "Maximum" Error Logigng from the Joomla! Global Configuration > Server option, there might be a hidden PHP message that can assit you more.

Try FTP'ing the complete (Full) package over the top of the instance, ensuring that "overwrite" is enabled in your FTP client.

Mr. RussW,
We appreciate your advice to "FTP'ing the complete (Full) package over the top of the instance". But, it would be grateful if you explained more! Which package you mean? And which instance?
As you might notice, most of us are "Joomla Apprentice"! with little knowledge about those kind of problems, And that's why we are here asking for "DETAILED HELP!"

I am also still having the same problem. It became worse even and now I can't see anything in the users management, but I can manage users only from the CB control panel.

Hope somebody can help!

Will Plugin manager work, instead of being a blank screen, if Joomla 1.5.24 is upgraded to 1.6 or 1.7? :'(

before ftp folders please make sure you rename the old folders and not just overwriting onto old folders.

1. administrator/components/com_plugins
2. administrator/components/com_users

Hi everybody,
Im pretty new to joomla too, but I solved this problem wich was bugging me for few days. Go to administrator/components/com_plugins and delete folder under name models. When I removed this folder everything is going fine. Same thing is with the menus. I couldnt add new item to my main menu, so Ive deleted folder tables from administrator/components/com_menus. User problem - solved it the same way. Ive deleted folder models from com_users and everything works fine.
I must repeat one more time, that Im a joomla begginer and not so sure that this is the right way for fixing this.
Be carefull and backup everything, in case you need something later :)
Cheers

Well as u can supose I was desperate :) After all the googling, trying and no fixing the problem, I compared my backup files (from time when site was working fine) with the new ones, and saw those "extra" folders. Everything went well for me. Glad that it worked for u too.
