The application form for Joomla user group registration spits out errors and does not process. I cannot submit any information on domain name request because those forms don't work either or return 404 errors. Opensourcematters.org is down so no help or contact information there. I really want to get this group up and going. How do I do it? For now I am just going to go ahead and set it up and wait til the forms are working again or is there someone I can email?
Thanks for any information.

Re: Starting a Joomla User Group
HI Andy,
Ok, yesterday I tried to submit the jug registration form and got various db errors, which depending why opensourcematters.org is down could be explained by the maintenance. Today it just re-routes to opensourcematters.org front page which is still down. I do not get any confirmation email so I'm pretty sure the information is still not submitting. I went to the jug forums and found that most of the links to registration information are 404 errors, so I assume the old Joomla site is where they are going to.
Unfortunately all links going to opensourcematters.org are not visible at this time due to the site being down.
On this page, http://community.joomla.org/user-groups/jug-faq.html, the link to register a new group goes here, http://community.joomla.org/blogs/leade ... la-11.html, which is a page on template changes in Joomla 1.1.
I will just keep checking back to see when the site reopens and perhaps the form will submit at that time.
Thanks,
Sue
