Hey Folks,

I have both of these installed and they work fine... I have them bridged with RokBridge http://www.rocketwerx.com/products/rokbridge/ and I am very happy with what I have at this point. It's also a simple install if someone is looking for a bridge.

However I need some help on forcing the user to login onto the Joomla side login, so I can better manage the site's members. If the user logs into the Joomla side, they are automatically logged into the phpBB side when they visit the forum from the main page. The problem is when they go to the phpBB side as a guest and create a username they never show up on the backend in Joomla?

I have two DB's configured, because I read a post that suggested if the site grew too large it could have complications etc.. so that is why I decided on seperate DB's.

Is there a way to fix this? I'm kind of new to some of this, but I'm hoping someone can suggest a fix.

Thank you,

ncrce125

Rokbridge now only offers support to paid members of its template club and there is no more forum where to post public questions about rokbridge. There are many other phpbb3 bridges available if you can not get this particular one working:
http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/bridges

Thanks, Marius
