Hello,

I come from Vietnam, I know that joomla has vietnamese support forum. But I posted a topic 2 days, there was no reply, so I couldnot get any support. I just installed joomla 1.0.5 and I donot know how to install new language (exactly vietnamese), so I would like to ask you. Can you help me?

Thanks in advance.

I advise you to install latest release (1.07) instead of 1.0.5.
You may find a 1.0.7 Vietnamese language pack here:
http://ngonngu.net/bNb/L10n/

These files have to be placed in your language folder and you should publish them from the administrator interface in Language Manager.

Hope this helps you get started.

Thanks for your reply. I downloaded, but how to install those files? I go to installer-->languages---->there are 2 types of installation. What should I do next to install?

If you do not use ftp directly (which looks like), go to administrator interface, Installers/languages menu.
Browse on your computer for the Language pack joomla-1.0.7-vi-20060116.tar.bz2 (or .zip, whichever the one you formerly dowloaded) and install.
Then go the the Language Manager Menu and publish.

EDIT: we have a help site where most questions are answered:  ;)
