hi all
I have the same problem with display errors.
I'm using GoDaddy Deluxe Hosting.
I've tried to install the latest version of joomla (1.5.14) but during the installation it gives me the problem about Display Errors (ON), so I tryed to edit the PHP.INI file but I couldn't find that.
Can you please help me about this?
Thank you.

That should depend on your Hosting PArtner. I am with 1and1.com and they tell me as well that this error message is on, however, comparably to the XAMP testserver on my computer I don't have error messages in my navigation bar destroying the design of the page.

Not sure if that info helps you... :S

Thanks for your comment!

I'll try to contact my hosting partner then I'll write back!

Best regards, Fisnik

To humvee or to anyone that can help....

I run Joomla! with xampp on a windows xp OS.
I've done eveyrthing said about setting the error reporting off.
Where ever there is "display_errors" in my php.ini code, it comes along with "Off".Yet, when i try to install Joomla! it still shows that the display error is on.
Where did i go wrong?
