If I can do, definitely you can do as well. All you need to do is go to Template Manager and change the Font-Family to Jameel Noori Nastaleeq in the css files.

Let me know if you need further explanation.

assalam u alaikum

please tell me how to aline the urdu text from right to left in Joomla.
and secondly tell me the exactly what we need to change in the css file to use any kind of urdu font in our joomla based website??

do u or anyone knows about this problem.

In the template css file search for font-family, it would be something like:

font-family: Arial, Times New Roman, .....,

Replace it with:

font-family: Jameel Noori Nastaleeq, Alvi Nastaleeq, Tahoma, Arial, Times New Roman,....

This will enable users who have Jameel installed in their system to see your website in Jameel font and then Alvi and then others....

one Question is remaining.

how to change the complete lay-out of normal joomla template for urdu, i mean to say our Hom Button should display on the right side and so on further menu. and how to set the text from right to left?

its very important question.

its a basic code to change direction... and you can also change direction from stylesheet file for different areas.. with
