Webmin: SQL show index from `jos_session` failed

Post by Mimmi » Wed Oct 21, 2009 7:21 am

Our site is down:
http://liv-laga.no/
jtablesession::Store Failed
DB function failed with error number 145
Table './liv_laga_2/jos_session' is marked as crashed and should be repaired SQL=INSERT INTO `jos_session` ( `session_id`,`time`,`username`,`gid`,`guest`,`client_id` ) VALUES ( '48f02e4220f324f5875886cd057e0d69','1256108992','','0','1','0' )
I looked at Site down:1.5.2. DB function failed with error number 145 but I don't use MyAdmin.

My host is my cousin I can't get hold of him because his phone is broken. :( I have very little server and database experience, work mainly with html, css etc. So I hope you guys might help.

When I click on MySQL Database Server I may edit other databases. But the one I need only says: SQL show index from `jos_session` failed : Table './liv_laga_2/jos_session' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

How may I access and repair this table?

Please take a look at the screenshot attached.

You will need to access your database via phpMyadmin.

Your database name should be shown in the left of the page. Click on it.

Scroll down the main page that opens until you find jos_sessions. Check the box on the left and at the foot of the page at the "with selected" drop down select Repair.

It will give you a "successful" message and your error should be cleared

It is usually in the control panel provided by your host.

Problem solved! :-D

My cousin came online and gave me the right url to the MyAdmin. He fixed the problem. :-)
