Rafael, Excellent questions and well presented. It's obvious that you have valuable experience in the NP world.

In addition to the questions posed, I would also like to know what the perspective(s) are on this post, given recent developments.

http://community.joomla.org/blogs/leade ... upids.html

I realize that's not a very specific question. If there's some acknowledgement that that post no longer describes the situation with the Joomla Project and it seems as though more specific questions related to it would be welcomed, I'd happily pose a few reasonable questions.

That post from over 2 years ago does not describe the Joomla Project today. The closest post on the structure of the project today is this one: http://www.joomla.org/announcements/gen ... rship.html

For one, the Joomla Core Team is no more. OSM does not Lead the Joomla Project, they never have, but are an invaluable part.

Could we perhaps leave this thread to answer the original questions posed, please? Perhaps start a new one with your own questions. I know I would personally appreciate that.

Thanks.

Can I agree with Brad, here? I don't want to have to hunt through a bunch of other questions/comments to get the answers to the ones posed by the originator.

No problem...not trying to sidetrack this thread. I'm still interested in answers to the questions Rafael posed...

Brad,

Thanks to the link for the Joomla Proeject Leadership.

Just one question, does the "Community Oversight Committee" still exist?

As you can read on the blog:
Quote:
The Community Oversight Committee, comprised of (alphabetically) Brad Baker, Chris Davenport, Alex Kempkens, Sam Moffatt and Ole Ottosen, will continue in that role for a transitional period, after which the Community Oversight Committee may be disbanded for OSM to become a fully self-governing body, however that is still under discussion.

Part bold by me.

Thanks. I just wasn't sure if that post was still valid.
