Regards,
I'm sure you have read the new Translation Policy.
http://help.joomla.org/content/view/496/176/
All teams are welcome, whether as Core Translators or Partner Sites, or both.
Core Translators, if they apply and demonstrate the availibility (or for the moment their formal decision to provide) 1.1 Core Translation files, may be invited in the Private Translation Forum and their Language Packs be listed among the others in a specific listing (to be done).
Partner Sites (the ones who can display a partnership specific icon on their site) have to provide to the users a full help system in their language.
I quote:
For this, they have to apply by pm or mail to me and sign a specific agreement which is defined in the Policy.2. Help sites will be listed on the Joomla! Directory site and will be permitted to show an official icon on their site (design to be advised). Direct choice by drop-down to a list of help sites servers will be provided through Joomla! administration interface.
They will thereafter be able to download a dump of Joomla! help files containing the specific key references, to translate on their site and their url will be part of the servers drop-down.
Multiple Partner sites for a said language are accepted as well as multiple Core language packs.
The users will freely choose the ones they want to use.
It is up to you and your team to apply. You are more than welcome to do so.
Let me add here that no one is allowed to present a site as an "Official Joomla! Support site" and it is desired that you do not use that term concerning your site. Or any other site btw.
The term to use, once the Agreement is signed and the help files are effectively provided, is "Official Translation Partner".
Some Partners, who had signed an agreement before we migrated to Joomla!, are using the new Partner Site icon although the help files are not yet provided.
We do not want to act as "Big Brother" here and do not ask them to take off this icon. But, once 1.1 is released and if no help files are provided, a fortiori if some of them have not signed the agreement, they will be asked to take it off.
I hope this clarifies the policy for you.11. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in termination of this agreement. Continued non-compliance may result in further action being taken which may include, but not be limited to, exclusion from the Joomla! forums, news items, directory listings, etc.
.

hmm ok infograf,
We already have a full Turkish (admin and front side) package on our site. And already we've the translation of 1.0.1 to 1.0.4 all versions and we're producing every version.I'm ready to sign any aggrement with JOOMLA.ORG.We've started a new mission in our translation team about translating all help.joomla.org documents. We'll be finished in 5 days I think.
I've read the conditions and I saw that we have the all requirements for being a translation partner.I want to publish this icon in our site because I've got 2 new articles will published in the most famous magazines of Turkey about Joomla! and JoomlaTurkiye!.

Re: Welcome to the Translation Teams
Hello to all !
I'm interested in joining the Arabic translation team , cause I haven't seen anybody in Language forum wanna do this
Also almost all Arab translators do translations to work their sites their way up ! not volunteering ! e.g. : " you must register at my site to get the translation "
and this is not understandable , especially when you know most of Arabic translations are corrupt or the language has a lite transfer !!
I'm a volunteer and my aim is to provide Arab users a localized joomla from A to Z or أ حتى ى In Arabic !!
Best Regards !
