MYSQL.PHP Error - Line 223 in Module Manager View

Post by juancpena » Tue Feb 02, 2010 4:31 am

Hi all,

In the admin panel, when I go to module manager I get the following error:

Code: Select all

Warning: mysql_query() [function.mysql-query]: Unable to save result set in /libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 223
Also, pagination does not work in the module manager page.

On the front end, the site looks wrong too.

I was moving around a module to different positions when it happened.

I've tried repairing all the tables in the database thru phpmyadmin.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!

Happy new year for all!

I've got the same problem and see this error on the Module-view:

Code: Select all

Warning: mysql_query() [function.mysql-query]: Unable to save result set in /home/domains/pd2rld.nl/public_html/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 223
I repaired the whole database in PhpMyAdmin and try also to repair the session-table, but nothing works. I made a backup of the database, delete the original and put the backup back again, still the same error.

Hopefully can anybody tell me how I fix this error.

Roland.

Hello,

Has anyone come to a solution for this issue?

We are receiving the following errors when loading a category in category blog view. This seems to be a related issue to what you mention above.

Warning: mysql_query() [function.mysql-query]: Unable to save result set in /htdocs/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 223

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /htdocs/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 344

Thank You!

Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Our site have been going down for the past few weeks with this error and I have reviewed the code in mysql.php but cannot find a solution. I have seen post indicating this is a traffic issue however our server was offline for a while and still over loaded the cpu.

I am on J1.5 attempting to move for a while . Our site has over 100,000 articles with 3,000 menu items on K2, for me a big mistake since K2 does not give me the flexibility of moving back to Joomla.

We are on a could server server. Any ideas on how we could solve this problem would be appreciated.
