Hallo,

I want to put a link on a page to a different page on my site.

But I want the link to not only go to the page - but to a SPECIFIC SECTION in the page, for instance to a specific paragraph somewhere in the middle.

Can this be done?

Thanks and have a wonderful day!
Riaan

You need to put an anchor in the page then point the url to it.
Have a look at this:

Hi, thanks

I have installed it, but I'm having diffuculty in figuring out how to link a SPECIFIC section of the page, not just the article. I can't seem to find a proper tutorial on how to go about what I want to do.

If it links only the article then the software would be pointless, since I could simply add a normal link to that page.

Any suggestions?
Thanks a bunch
Riaan

To link to a specific section of a page, if you insert at the start of paragraph 4 in the code of your page, then to call the link from same page the link would be:
Click here to read paragraph 4.
To link from an external page you would enter:
to read paragraph 4 on my page/a>

Simpsons fan eh? My favourite seasons are 4 and 9.

Take care

This info is useful to me but I want a Menu Item to do this rather than just a hyperlink.

How do I achieve that?

You can select the menu item type 'External' or similar and use the full link which includes # and the reference to the anchor on the page.
