Hi i am using the older version of joomla and my site is running to slow http://www.in2town.co.uk and I have read about How To Optimize Your Site With GZIP Compression but to be honest i do not understand it.

I am being told that 98 per cent of sites are faster than mine and it is also saying that some pages take 15 sec to load so i need to make it faster.

Can anyone please help and point me in the right direction on how to speed up my site
