dear friends,

Thanks for your work on tamil support component for JOOMLA!

I have facing this problem with my site, please help me to fix it.

I have installed tamil language front-end component (http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/j_l10n ... e_id=11523) "ta-LK" in my site.

The installation was successful. I have selected Tamil-Srilanka is the default language.

Then I copied tamil unicode text, (that already typed and saved in google docs) in to article content editor and, in "Advanced Parameters" section I selected content language as "Tamil-Srilanka".

But when I publishing the content it shows only "??????".

what is the problem with me? please help.

அன்பு நண்பரே நாங்கள் புதிதாக ஒரு வலைதளம் உருவாக்கி வருகிறொம். நாங்கள் fantastico மூலம் Auto install முறையில் யூம்லா மென்பொருள் நிருவியிருக்கிறோம்.

தாங்கள் மேலே கொடுத்த தொடுப்புகளில் சொல்லப்பட்டது போல தமிழ் யுனிகோடு எழுத்துக்களை நிருவ முடியவில்லை

எழுத்துக்கள் Article மற்றும் menu பகுதிகளில் ?????? என்றே வருகிறது

எங்களுக்கு உதவ முடியுமா?

தங்கள் தரவுத்தளத்தின் (Database) குரியீடாக்கம் (Encoding) utf8_general_ci ஆகா உள்ளதா? தாங்கள் Joomla! வை நிருவுதலுக்கு முன் இது செய்யப்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டும்.

உங்கள் ஆலோசனைக்கு நன்றி சகோதரரே,

தமிழ் தளத்தை நீக்கிவிட்டு மாற்றி மீண்டும் முயற்சி செய்தோம், தாங்கள் சொன்ன முறையில் மாற்றிய பின்பும் ??? என்றே எழுத்துக்கள் தெரிகின்றன‌.

நாங்கள் ஏற்கெனவே வேறொரு யூம்லா நிருவியிருக்கிறோம் (for English), அதையும் நீக்கிவிட்டு database encoding-ஐ மாற்றிய பின்பு தான் யூம்லாவை நிருவ வேண்டுமா எனத் தெளிவு படுத்துங்கள்.
