Location: Habana, Cuba
Hello Community: I am a profesor of a university of Cuba, I already work with this CMS since 4 years ago; and my question is: How Can I establish the community of joomla first en my university and later in all the country. All what I want is to contribute to development and translation of the CMS as possible. I want to know any joomla leader whom to contact, for having the support and approval of the community.

Hi Abdiel,

You can find information on how to get started creating a local user group a this page:
http://community.joomla.org/user-groups.html

A user group is basically a near and local thing realting more to cities than coutries really.

For translations you can find more info on how to get started and which language packs are already supported at this page:
http://community.joomla.org/translations.html
You probably would be the better to determine whether the spanish used in your area have so many variations from standard spanish, that a unique language pack would be needed. Should that be the case, then you can see at the link above what is needed :)
