My "Joomla! Brasil" group has disappeared!?
http://people.joomla.org/groups/viewgro ... rasil.html
First thing I try to connect to it this morning, no success. Tried searching for it, no success.
The group was created on May 13 and to the present day had over 30 member, who are asking me where the group is.
Thanks for checking that out for us.

Thank you Sandra, and congratulations on the fine job you and your team are doing.
PS just so you know, there's nothing we ask that we wouldn't volunteer to help with!

The group avatar is gone.(easy to fix from here, but will wait a bit for your diagnosis)
All replies to the Discussions are gone.
The wall is empty.
Video, gone.
Checking for anything else.
Edit: The group content was affected back to the 13th.

Whatever was done has also affected another group of mine: http://people.joomla.org/groups/viewgro ... rasil.html
The avatar is also gone.
Another user who had joined the group is gone.
The above user had been added as an Admin and is also gone.

Re: My "Joomla! Brasil" group has disappeared!?
We had to restore some of the tables in the database in order to get the groups back. It was our last resort. As a result those tables were set back to 5/17 at 8pm EDT approximately. This is less problematic than missing groups.
Very sorry for the inconvenience.

I understand the database restoration process.
The dates/time though don't seem the be correct as all the replies to all the discussions in my group, which date back to the 13th are gone.

Re: My "Joomla! Brasil" group has disappeared!?
We are really interested in restoring everything that we possibly can, including the members trust, and keep the good momentum and atmosphere.
I'll ask the group members to help me do that by copying the replies' content they received by e-mail and re-posting it all back as much as possible.
If you think it should be further investigated and that another restore should be done, I'll refrain from wasting the members' time.
What do you think?
Edit: spelling (trust).
