Problem with mambelfish

Hi all
I was wandering if i could get some help, I am producing a site which needs Welsh-English translation
I am using  Joomla! 1.0.7 Stable and have install mambelfish which took me a while, I have translated some content myself with my limited ability at written welsh, My problem lies with the switch, for some reason the site starts with English (Default) when i switch tu welsh the translation works but then it will not switch back,
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

ps, go lightly, i am only an illustrator, with some developer knowledge

did not put cy oe en in the iso box
