Upgraded 11 sites from 1.5.18 to 1.5.19 with no problems whatsoever. :D

Thanks for a great product!

Might be a good idea to put the Mootools plugin information in the 1.5.20 release notes as well (and maybe the security information as well), since 1.5.19 only has been out for a few days and most people will not have upgraded their installation yet.

That is where you might be wrong.
For security reasons I am obliged by my hosting comp. to keep any version of any software up to date.
And that is and I suppose (and hope) many people do.
I do not mind keeping my sites up to date.
Some sites might be more work, others are easy.
But 2 upgrades in a couiple of days is something that is more work than I would have liked.

What was the problem with 1.5.19?
There is no mention in the changelog. ???

I'd hope so too, but I know that this will not be the case. A thread here mentioned missing files: viewtopic.php?f=199&t=533773.

Can the Moderator please set up a new thread to discuss the 1.5.22 release and include this in the process for all new releases. Hopefully this will help us to understand the exact nature of the vulnerabilities that have been fixed.

I appreciate that you prescribe that all Joomla! sites should be upgraded immediately to the latest version, however this needs to be balanced with the economics of doing so, especially when a web development business has to upgrade 10 or more sites.

This forum is essential to discuss and unearth the details of new releases so that we can weigh up the risk of not implementing a 'low severity' release or not against our own individual business merits.

The 1.5.22 release notes only say "Inadequate filtering of request variables causes database errors.", which is insufficient knowledge to base a decision on.

Thanks.
