I installed joomla 1.5.20 and i am facing permission problem in /administrator folder

here is the output


403 forbidden

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /administrator/ on this server.


--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Apache/1.3.33 Server at XXXXX.XXX Port 80



I deleted the .htaccess file just incase this is cause (so mod_security is not an issue). chmod 755 for the folder and still nothing.... :(


any ideas?

it's the RewriteRule .* - [L,F]

inside .htaccess which causes the problem....

hi
I need to add html codes in to table but i face to error:

"You don't have permission to access /administrator/index.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

whats the problem? please help me
