I'm having similar issues. Any solutions in sight? I may be forced to disable this really good plugin

I want to use this plugin, but it is having trouble with my https site. It produces a 403 forbidden error when trying to load the following object:

https://www.domain.com/plugins/content/ ... re_edition 14_judyfeld_alliances.mp3&autoplay=0&autoreplay=0&showtime=1

If I try to load the same file but switch https to http, it works beautifully.

Hi,

Ok, maybe I am missing this in the posting. How do I change the player mode. I am interested in the playlist display. I installed the plugin and it works fine for multiple files. This is not really giving me the artist name or track. Can someone please give me a step by step on how to do this? Here is what I have fro the multi player

Hello,
Great player!

I was wondering if there is anyway to have a player stop playing when a new player is activated?

I have multiple players on a page and would like it if a person wouldn't have to press "stop" on the old player before pressing "play" new player. This way there won't be multiple players playing at the same time.

It would be the best playerplugin, but due not working on IE7 and IE6 cant use it... :(

hello

iam using josdewplayer plugin for play songs. it is working fine in my local system but iam installed on my live site it is not showing the player.

iam checking the file permissions. iam given the 777 permisstions for the plugin ,components and mp3 folder. and also check the swf file also. any suggestion for me ASAP.

Hi

I am wondering today why this plugin is not working on domain.

Actually, I uploaded my website yesterday night till that time my nameservers were not reflecting so that I just completed my work on http://xx.xx.xxx.xx/~xxxxxx/.

And in morning when I opened my main domain which has been reflected to this main path i.e. http://www.domain.com/ only josdewplayer is not working.

I have disabled sef, cache. but no luck. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it again through domain administrator panel. but no luck.

I have added also mp3 extension in global config. but no luck.

Strange thing - its running on main ip but not running on domain name which is same in a sense.

Please help ASAP.

Its resolved by entering main giving IP path. but still confused why its not picking simply images/audio path

The player layout is very nice and I would like to use it on my site. But I have AVReloaded and don´t want to have so many different players installed. Is there a way how to integrate josdewplayer with AVReloaded through adding a new player within AVR and so being able a. o. to add the tag into the content via AVR Media button?

Yes.

Note: I have already added the Dewplayer Stream player to AVR.
So it should not be hard to add the regular player also.

Hi,

I have some troubles with the player, apparently related with the last version of flash.

The problem is some of my mp3 doesn't load correctly.

There is a new version of the flash player here :

http://www.alsacreations.fr/dewplayer.html

So I try to replace the dewplayer.swf file with the lastest in the plugin folder but after this I have an XML error wrote inside the player, instead of the title.

Any idea to fix this ?

The new player requires code rewriting for the plugin.

Two Quick Questions:

1) Is there a way to display a volume control button in the player in every instance?

2) This is more of a digital rights issue:
Can I use music files that I have properly purchased (in CD form) and of which I am the owner in my website?

I saw on http://www.alsacreations.fr/dewplayer.html that it exists differents players (Vinyl / Bubble / Playlist...)
Is it possible to use them ? Must i just change the code on the php file ?

Sorry, folks, but 1.6 takes all my time right now.

I will try to update the player with the recent dewplayer-multi.swf and dewplayer.swf asap.

Concerning using new type of players (Vinyl, etc.), indeed you need to change the php and maybe the xml depending on the features provided.
I have no intention to add these now for 1.5.

It works diffrently than the others.
One has to create xml playlists and refer code to it.

Now josdewplayer works with dewpllayer-playlist.swf !

How to use:
You must specify the xml file. It is easy. Simply.
{play}images/stories/mp3/playlist.xml{/play}

This code is not perfect. Maybe some corrections are necessary (Autoreplay doesn’t work).

Hi, I'm very interested in the playlist also. I'm brand new to Joomla and got the player going easily - thank you for making it so simple!!! . One question, can I change the green and orange to other colors? I haven't seen anything about that yet.

With the playlist, I wouldn't know where to begin. Is it another plug-in? Thanks!

Does someone have any solution to add this player to docman. For example like this hack with "other" player but its for joomla 1.0* and for me it didnt worked on 1.5.22..

File ---> joined file in my first message ! (rar file) ;)

Replace josdewplayer.php in

joomla_directory/plugins/content/josdewplayer.php

It's all ! :D

Hi,

I love the plugin, thanks. Could you please explain how do I get rid of the song title next to the player? It doesn't appear here: http://info-graf.fr/infografcvs/musique ... river.html but on my website I just cannot get rid of it. http://tatumusic.eu/mission/joomla/ (left side, bottom of the page). I have been using it for over a year now.
Everything was fine...but now i have been experiencing some problem..
When i am pausing the player or m changin onto another song, the first song keep playin...

Hi,
the wonderful player worked for many years and suddenly stopped - nothing is visible (and audible).
I reinstalled it - nothing happened.
When I disabled it - in the place of the plugin I see just such text:

{play}images/mp3/Breathing in2.mp3{/play}

Have you got any ideas?

Hello and thanks for the Josdewplayer plugins.
All is OK for me, but the music starts from the begin when I charge a new page on the site. How to have the same music without interruption during all the navigation on the website ? Thanks for helping.

Une question : j'ai inséré le code dans un article en footer (via le module custum content) de façon à ce que la musique accompagne l'internaute pendant toute la navigation du site. Or, dès que l'on change de page, la musique redémarre du début. Comment faire pour que l'écoute soit fluide ? Merci de votre aide.

This is a security limitation inherent to the net and not the plugin.
Only way to have some music permanently playing when loading a site, would be to load it in a frame.
