Hello, I am getting an error-specifically

Invalid Video: http://www.cltv.com/videobeta/955335f1- ... ence-Burch

when I try to play the file, I guess denvideo doesn't like the extension of which there really isn't any in the URL, does anyone know a way around this?

I used DenVideo for first time and i am not so good with joomla. Please help me with my question..

Can i change the colour of player? I do not want to be blue.... Please answer me :)

There is this opition on the youtube player, i think. Otherwise u need to hack the plugin

Joomla 1.15.21, Rocket Theme Quantive.

Installed plug-in with success, enabled it, added this code to a module position (showcase-a):
{denvideo http://www.mysite.com/flash/myswf.swf}
(Did not use real URL for client confidentiality)

After saving and viewing site all I see in the module position is that exact code string.

Does the plug-in not display Flash pieces inside a module?

the modules dont load plugins but u can install mod_denvideo for that

One more thing, using the module I am not able to set the wmode to transparent so the Flash video is blocking my Joomla sub menus. How can I enable transparent mode for the swf via the module???

Hi there
I am getting an error upon installing the plugin. I am running 1.5.21 and plugin is plg_denvideo_v4.0b.zip.

Everything else installs fine, permissions are correct (777). and the error I get is: * JFTP::write: Bad response
* Unable to write entry

Can anyone assist?

Is there any way to get the video to start playing immediately instead of waiting for it to "buffer" through the whole video download first?

I've got a local wmv file and it plays... after about 1min of "buffer" download.

I'd like to Pseudo stream if possible?

Hello all

this is realy very urgent quest i hope i can get an answer ASAP

i need to know can denvideo make the following

1. Registered user upload a video to our site via a web-form
2. Our site automatically send the video to YouuTube via any appropriate API for encoding.
3. The video is set to NOT visible on YouTube upon arrival
4. The video is added to a list of “videos to be reviewed” for the administrator
5. The next time the administrator logs in, he is presented with videos to review. If he hits “approved”, the site uses the appropriate API to set the video to VISIBLE on YouTube
6. The site then the appropriate API to retrieve the EMBED code for the video and makes the video available on our video gallery.

can denvideo do this section?

I've got no idea about this one, but just going off past experience, it would look like you're running an older version of PHP and/or Joomla - and some function he's got in the module called "eregi" is not running because it's been "depreciated".

Are you running Joomla 1.0 with PHP 5+? Are you running Joomla 1.5+ with PHP 4.x?

You may have some conflicts going there... just a guess though.

Hi,
i have a problem withthe denvideo plugin.
i used it like written before {denvideo http://youtube.....}

but i alway get following error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function registerEvent() on a non-object in URL/plugins/content/denvideo/denvideo.php on line 14

this line in code: "$mainframe->registerEvent( 'onPrepareContent', 'plgContentDenVideo' );"

where is my fault?

note: i'm using joomla 1.6, denvideo 4.0b.

A nIce Extension, but when i am clicking to play, the playable area says loading .., loading... thats it !!? given the path correctly, i think i am not giving 100% details but the problem is in the first line, please guide me, thanks in advance ...

Is it possible to create videos in front page of website for main business video so that every one can see it. Does it affects the performance of the website? Does it supports in all the browsers?

I got this error when I upgraded my php to 5.3.

I came up with this hack that seems to do the trick. Need to use preg_match with the i operator instead of eregi.

// if(!eregi('http://', $defdir)){
if(!preg_match('@http://@i', $defdir)){

// $video = eregi('http://', $video)?
$video = preg_match('@http://@i', $video)?

// if( eregi('youtube.com', $video) ){
if( preg_match('@youtube.com@i', $video) ){
