Help! I am randomly getting errors in multiple modules, after the site has been working fine. The errors appear in module positions. Often, they go away after a while and then everything works fine again. Clearing cache doesn't help. I've removed/unpublished modules to solve the problem from time to time, but new errors keep appearing. I have an email into host to see if this is database connection problem. I have also subbed out a few plugins thinking they were source, but no luck. URL: http://www.wfrnlive.com.

Can anyone suggest another possible cause?

please for example check if the images/banner directory exists. It's difficult without looking at the folders and code (which version) etc. as to what the problems are. Hopefully my 'best' guess puts you in the right direction.

I have tried to look for solution by simply using google but unfortunatly coudn't find any.
As I type errors in google , it showed me that it is not only us having those problems, there are paaaages of results with those errors.

yes, i am getting this same exact error. Check the information above and its all there.

It seems that some modules come online and sometimes they don't. Might be due to bandwith issues, but not sure.
Just refresh your site or go to > Cache Manager - Clean Cache Admin and clear it and also clear (Delete) Cache Manager - Purge Cache Admin. That does seem to sometimes fixes the issue.

Ok, your issue I am getting now. I recently updated to the current version 1.5.22 and I noticed your same error is popping in banner module area. public_html/modules/mod_banners/tmpl/default.php on line 9. Before I did the update, I never did see it, never. Sometimes, deleting the cashe works and sometimes it doesn't.

I don't know, at this point my advertisers are upset and well, nothing that can be done about it, expect reverting back to the previous version, which I don't want to do.

i also have this problem in mod banner... joomla 1.5.25

Same here with mod_banners in J 1.5.25.
Also few other problems have similar issues.
Site overloads the server which goes down and then need rebooting.
