joomla ext needed

i have been surfing the extensions pages for a while now.

I have not been able to work out how to surf it and find the info i need, i mean i can casually browse but don't seen to find what i am looking for.
I'm looking for an ext that has-
companies can list information about what they offer in terms of service and /or products etc
individuals can list information about what they need in terms of service and /or products etc
That's the core of the site.

I tried to start making a website myself and has ended in failure.Having learned a bit more about joomla 1.6 i realize there maybe an ext that can get me more that 50% to what i really want
Any help in locating an ext would really be appreciated :-[

try one of the directory extensions, like Sobi2 or something.

Sorry , i was looking and it doesnt say sobi2 is for 1.6.?
I am very new at this game , and i figured what you mean is to download sobi2 so i can use some ext for that directory ext?
