Hallo,

i'm new to joomla 1.6 and i'm trying CKEditor.
My problem is that when i try to insert inline stylesheet, for example see:
<div style="background: url('/path/image.png') " >Wrong Encode</div>

After saving joomla CKEditor return: (I think it's a wrong encode, only on FF)
<div style="background: url('&quot;path/image.png&quot;) " >Wrong Encode</div>
and then i can viewvbackground image (image.png).

This is a problem for my site because we are more then one administrator/editor and
not all people use IE.

My problem is present when i use Firefox (3.6.16) but when i use IE all is ok.

Do you have some patch?
Can somebody help me ?

J

Location: London, England.
I have tested this in the JoomlaCK Editor version 3.4.6 stable. It removes the quotes but the integration of the code is kept intack.

On test be became:
Quote:
<div style="background: url(/path/image.png) repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent;">
Wrong Encode</div>

which would fix your issue.

Take care,

Paul

Hi,
@jabber this behaviour is issue in CKEditor 3.5.X series (and our extension from http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... tors/12821 is always up to date with latest CKEDditor version.). I report this problem in http://dev.ckeditor.com/ticket/7617 ticket.

My answer comes late, sorry ;)
@mkesicki
I use CKEditor 1.6.2, see:
When i try in http://ckeditor.com/demo, if i try on FF, single quote is encoded to &quot; and my problem PERSISTS , if i try in IE8, single quote is removed and it could work.

@JCK
Thank you for you info, JoomlaCK Editor 3.4.6 (JCKEditor), from now on i'll use it.

A small observation, CKEditor (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... editors/90) and JCKEditor (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... tors/12821) differ only by "J" character.
Some users may confuse them or think they are the same plugin.

Thanks to all of you
J
