Many people have tried using Joomla 1.6 Beta and IE9 Beta at the same time, this is a big mistake.
You are gauranteed to get MANY errors which of course creates the question of who is at fault.

Using 2 Betas on the same machine at the same time is never a good idea. Wait until one of them has released a stable version before testing together.

But I have noticed one huge benefit of IE9 when used to VIEW (not administer) a Joomla site. IE9 presents an unprecedented view of your site. With its new speed, clarity and size increases even those "skinny" sites look good.

Happy site building!

Hi Ripose,

I have just tried using IE9 and Joomla 1.6.3 and I have experienced number of problems.

Kind Regards,
