I can't find any place to report this, so I'll comment it here.
I've just found that the Joomla help screens have stopped working. I discovered this through the Administration panel. Also if I go directly to the list of help screens at http://help.joomla.org/content/section/16/276/, I can see the titles, but after clicking on them all, there are no images. Is Joomla's help site unavailable for any reason? (e.g. maintenance)

No replies? No interest?

I've tried changing the language for help screens in my Admin panel, and it seems they're all working OK, except for English.

Also, at http://help.joomla.org/content/category/16/152/223/ all the help screens are still missing.

I've reported this problem to www.cloudaccess.net where I'm using a test site. They've confirmed that there is a problem at joomla.org and obviously they can't do anything about it and that I should report it on the forums here, which I've already done, but no replies yet.

Am I reporting this in the wrong section, or simply nobody cares?

I've got the same problem , Cloud access advsed me the saem as they did you

We found the issue. It's with http://help.joomla.org, a site outside of our hosting - the component is pointing to these help sites. Please contact http://forum.joomla.org for more details.

Can anyone help withteh missinghelp files please ! us newbies need a hand :)

leolam, I'm grateful for your reply.

After receiving one arrogant reply here (which later disappeared), and another one saying "it works for me" (in another section), I was rather disappointed. Although I'm a newbie, I could see very clearly that there was a problem which I had clearly outlined, but it seems nobody cared or even bothered to check it out as I suggested. Additionally, other users were reporting the same problem. Is this the general spirit in Joomla forums?

When you're learning to use new software, instant help access is invaluable. Luckily I speak Spanish, so I switched to the Spanish help screens, but maybe others were not so lucky.

Definitely not. The Joomla forum is well known for its excellent support and friendly atmosphere. If people are insulting they get warned immediately and it is well possible that a moderator might have interfered in non friendly communication or in case the Code of Conduct (http://www.joomla.org/about-joomla/the- ... nduct.html)has been breached. it was first reported may 11, leo picked up in may 18 and reported it fixed may 21

To me, may 11 to 21 is a long time

I'm glad its fixed, i rely on it a lot as i'm building my first site
