Hi,

I'm trying to get into an old joomla site that nobody has accessed for
awhile and when trying to log in the admin panel i get this error message:

Warning: main(/home/content/l/u/k/luke0001/html/ao/administrator/components/com_admin/admin.admin.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/l/u/k/luke0001/html/ao/administrator/index2.php on line 62

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/content/l/u/k/luke0001/html/ao/administrator/components/com_admin/admin.admin.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/content/l/u/k/luke0001/html/ao/administrator/index2.php on line 62

we can access the files by ftp, so i imagine i have to change a file name or something is not in the right place anymore. but i really have no idea what to do.

everything was working fine before, but nobody logged in for about a year and now
it seems that something has changed on the site somehow.

The front page works and the site works its just we cant log into the backend.

any ideas of what this may be?

here's the site

http://angelicorganics.com/ao/index.php ... Itemid=130

Thanks!!!

update it's getting even better but at least we are getting somewhere
after reading the error message and looking for missing files i have found that
somehow the com_admin file was missing.

i need a joomla 1.0 com_admin file now

as well as com_config also

i used joomla 1.0.15 com_config and com_admin now i can log into
admin but can't access fully configurations and get some security errors

i think joomla 1.0 files will solve my problem

but i cant find joomla 1.0 files anywhere any ideas?

hi thanks for the reply!

this old site says that it is joomla 1.0
is Joomla_1.0.15 the earliest version?

i need to replace the lost files, get the 1.0 working properly then upgrade
and i think it will be fixed, any sugestions, should i try the upgrade package?
i'm a little afraid to start upgrading when the original 1.0 isn't working right
yet, any ideas?

It is unlikely to be pure 1.0, it is most likely to be a patched version, ie. 1.0.n. Confirm the version number of the original site. Report back.

In any case, 1.0.15 is what you need.

I would back the site up in full before I do anything. Do not start until you have this complete. Then apply the full 1.0.15.

Hi thanks for the quick reply!

http://angelicorganics.com/ao/administrator/

it says 1.0 upper right hand corner, is that the only place
to see the version?

I need an original 1.0.9 joomla installation package
any idea where i might find one, it's no longer where
it used to be. http://joomlacode.org/gf/frs/do/viewRel ... _1_0.1_0_9

:(

I think if i swap out the missing com_config etc. files my joomla will work again, but i need the original 1.0.9 files

If you go to the location listed above there should be a 1.0.9. If not then the 1.0.15 will do at a push. 1.0.15 is stable but you are wise to go for the 1.0.9 if you can find it.

Once you get the site going, back it up again and consider upgrading to 1.0.15 ASAP.

Just had a look and I can confirm that 1.0.9 is not available at sourceforge anymore. I think it would be wise for the devs to keep a repository going of old versions at the very least for history's sake.

I think you will be using 1.0.15. It is not a bad thing to do and nothing should suffer for it.

yes and to fix a corrupted 1.0.9 it would help i imagine....

ok i have replaced my missing files with the new 1.0.15 ones but get these errors in the back end
global configuration:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: jossecuritycheck() in /home/content/l/u/k/luke0001/html/ao/administrator/components/com_config/admin.config.html.php on line 838

also this i other places

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: josgetarrayints() in /home/content/l/u/k/luke0001/html/ao/administrator/components/com_content/admin.content.php on line 22

i wonder if i am missing other files from this joomla and if there is a way to somehow fill in all of the missing ones by ugrading?

Did you use a full installation or first use the patch from 1.0.9 to 1.0.15? How did you apply it?

Did you check whether there are any other upgrade procedures for 1.0.9 to 1.0.15? There may be some other tasks left undone... database mods? I can't remember it is such a while ago but you must check first.

EDIT: Just checked and the upgrade packages only go back to 1.0.12, hmmmm

It might be simpler to get a 1.0.15 install going elsewhere and then SQL export/import the critical content, copy over the images, and the template folder and try again from scratch. It all depends upon what extensions you have installed and the complexity of the site.
