Dear Community Builders,

I'm busy building a new dealersystem.
We built bikes (www.santosbikes.com) and distribute those bikes to our Dealers.

Our current Dealersystem is pretty [censored]'d  and is imported within a iframe.
So it's time for a new one.

http://santosbikes.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userslist
There is our 'Dealer List'

But the standard search function is not what we want.

What do we want
A Dealer search system that is quiet simple.
Just a few ordinary functions.
You've to have the ability to search on:
1. Dealername
2. Do they have showroom bikes and a color screen? (checkbox)
3. Bikes.

Well I got stuck at the 3rd.
When I look for a bike:
"SCC 03 Special"
It will also show the Dealers that have the bike:
"SCC 03 Rohloff/riem"
Because the first part of the search does match.

How can we get this out of the system?
So when we search for:
"SCC 03 Specials"
Only the dealers with the SCC 03 specials will show up, and those with a SCC 03 Derailleur won't.

Would be great if someone could help me.

Best Regards,
Dylan Damsma

in the search plug-in or component or module you created you have the search sql just echo that and post it here if you don't mind

The Community Builder settings are on:
Simple any word match: Only 'any of' and Ranges

Other options are:
Simple Exact Match: Only 'is' and ranges
&
All Possibilities

I can't find the search function somewhere in the Community Builder scripts. Have been looking for it for an hour.. :-\

This problem still isn't solved.

When I set the settings on "simple exact match", then the search results always stay blank, no matter what I'm searching for. Even when I know it IS in the searchable fields, it still won't it find it.

Really need to solve this! Can someone help ;) ?

This is driving me crazy. I have joomla 2.5.4 installed and I am using K2. When you enter a phrase...say heart disease and choose exact phrase you get every article with either word as well as the phrase. So you have to go through all of the articles one at a time to find the relevant content. The results should parse the articles with the exact match in the title first and then the articles with the phrase...not every freakin article on the the site with either word or partial word. How to I fix this? I can't find any reference on this problem elsewhere. I tried RokAjaxSearch and the only comment they have on there forum is "rokajaxsearch is based on the mod_search core function and should behave like that. if you need it to behave differently, then i suggest that you search or ask at the joomla.org forum." So here I am...any ideas?
