Problems trying to register .....

I either get an invalid token or I get this nice beauty:

Joomla!
500 - DB function failed with error number 1054
Unknown column 'latitude' in 'field list' SQL=UPDATE `xxx_community_users` SET `latitude`='29.6196787' , `longitude`='-95.6349463' WHERE `userid`='8033'

Update to say we have raised it with the developer, and it is an occasionally error.

Hello mandville,

can you please tell me a little more about the error, or maybe how you its possible to fix? Because I have the same on a project from me. The Problem is the jomsocial update to 2.2.2 that make the error, but the error is still not fixed by the developers (this is my latest knowlege) :-(

Hello mandville,

first thanks a lot for you answer. Yes i do likewise. But the problem is that the bug is <strong>not</strong> occasionally. Every User get this error message after registration:-(

I write to you, becaus i had the hope that maybee a such big Portal like joomla.org get more and fater infos as i as a normal person.

we misunderstand us:-( Or i don´r reed right;-) NOT the login is the problem. The registration under people.joomla.org. At the end of the registration it comes a error screen.

Every normal user think now, the registration doesn´t work. I have the same problem with my Project. So I google and google find that people.joomla.org have the same error.

I make 2 test registrations at people.joomla.org and everytime the error message come.

You can test it yourself. Make a new account, at the end of the registration the error come...

After many hours today i now found the problem for my project: At the jomsocial 2.2.2 update the table "longitude" and "latitude" in jos_community_user is missed. Now I make them "from hand" and the registration works at my project.

which is what we thought and had informed the dev but unless the dev knows its happening to many then it could just be the way its set up for us.

we had tested - believe me.
what was the other user name you registered with so that can be deleted
