I dont know what to say other than that. In Firefox and IE the add to cart button is working perfectly, but for some reason when i try to click it in Safari it doesnt register the click.

Any help as to why this would be happening would be great!

It will be a lack of support for a critical Joomla component in Safari. Forgotten which, I do know it has just gone... tired, I'll do some research and come back when my head is working. I suggest you go and raise it with Safari support as they will have to make a change. What is the VM version?

So you can sleep better, if you know that the proportion of people visiting your site and buying things using Safari, is likely to be very small <1% possibly.

I'm sure it is Ajax incompatibility.

Glad to help - when my brain is working it us a useful thing to have. When I only have access to bits of it due to tiredness or alcohol then it is next to useless.

From the response by Opera support it looks as if the problem is actually in Virtuemart. It may well be that the response that VM is giving is not taking into account that Safari/Opera exist. When the support person tested Opera and masked its identity as Firefox it worked.

Might be worth going to that VM post and raising your new issue on the back of that one.
