Well i m completely new to the zoo component.
I created a catlog then the sub-category, went ahead & created a item in the sub-category using the default "product" template available if u hav zoo pro.

The catalog works & displays perfectly if accessed form the menu. This is the "product" view.
It looks like this:

But if i go ahead & search the item & access it from there the view of the template changes to "debug" i.e. this:
Image

which is frustrating as it shows both the teaser & the actual description.
so i want the item to be displayed in "product" view even if the item is accessed through the search engine.

Another question is:
Can i disable any one catalog from being searched, for example i have created two catlogs named books & author. So i want to disable te author catalog from being searched.

Please Help Me!!!

I need the reply really urgent as my client is waiting for me since a week & i m stuck with these two problems.

I Thank you in advance! PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

You would be best asking this question in the Yootheme forum as they designed and support the Zoo extension and should be able to answer it quickly.

Their forum is behind a paywall, so unfortunately that's not an option for those of us who were foolish enough to get far enough using ZOO that we can't easily swap it out.

yes, this is the stupidest thing i've seen any component developer do.
especially when the component itself is free!
really, no access to community support??

I'm also in the position of an expired Yootheme subscription.

I'm looking to find a way to incorporate a column into the backend zoo blog app item manager. By default there are columns including: Name, Type, Published, Searchable, Comments, Order Priority, Access Level, Author, Date, Hits. As is found in the basic Joomla article manager, I would like to add the column to that table to show which items are checked for display on the frontpage. I know I can go into each item and see whether it's frontpage status is set to 'yes' or 'no', but it makes things much easier to have a column in the overall table view.

I am running Zoo 2.2.3

Thanks.

I bought it and kept it unused. The only nice thing is the (free) blog app. The very expensive € 99 apps are old fashioned and do not work properly - I never brought the category view to work. No support. No answer to security questions.
